Whether you are a Veteran Legacy Run Rider/Passenger or a first timer, please take extra care in preparing both yourself and your bike for this ride. Your bike should be thoroughly serviced in advance, with tires in excellent condition/wear. Don’t even think about showing up for this ride with marginal tread or old/dry-rotted tires. This year, protective attire and sun protection as well as hydration will be particularly important.

In the unfortunate situation of a break down, our Chase and Recovery Teams will make every effort to assist you to a safe location. However please remember that again, given the distance and geographic area, there may be significant distances between dealerships and repair facilities.  Please also note that the Chase and Recovery Team vehicles may not have the space to transport your trailer, if you are pulling one, with your motorcycle or trike.

Leading up to departure day, we will be sending e-mails on safety points, places of interest on the Ride, activities during the Ride and reminders on thorough preparation for the event.

Thank you and welcome to the 2017 Legacy Run.  We look forward to joining friends old and new on our journey to Reno, Nevada and the 99th annual American Legion National Convention.
